Vienna has convenient access to I-66, The Dulles Toll Road, Oakton, Reston, Herndon and Fairfax. The Vienna metro station is currently the last stop on the Metro-rail Orange line which also makes Vienna important to neighboring communities.

Recreation and Activities
Both visitors and residents alike enjoy the hometown atmosphere of Maple Avenue (Rt. 123) bustling with specialty shops, numerous restaurants and family run businesses. In Vienna you can stroll down treelined Historic Church Street, or take a leisurely drive through Vienna's Historic District, including Windover Avenue via Pleasant Street. Visit Freeman House and Museum, originally a residence / general store built in 1859, or walk across the street to Centennial Park, home to an old restored W&OD caboose and bordered by the scenic Washington and Old Dominion Regional Park Trail.
The town of vienna is home to 11 parks and a wonderful Community Center offering family-friendly activities through the year. People from across Northern Virgina look forward to the annual Viva Vienna Memorial Day Festival and 4th of July Celebration.
For those looking for musical entertainment, Vienna is home to Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. Wolf Trap hosts an assortment of musical acts all year round in its 4,000-seat pavilion. There are two 18th century barns that house performances as well, in addition to a children's theater and educational center.
