Centreville is located in western Fairfax County just 20 miles from the Nation's Capital. With a population of approximately 50,000, Centreville has a lot to offer with regard to housing, history, fun and entertainment. Centreville has changed with the times, it was still so small in 1943 that a state map book indicated each building in the town (and also misspelled its name). Today Centreville is considered a close-in suburb of Washington, D.C. Centreville's growth occurred in the late 1990s and early 2000s with the influx of technology companies.

Centreville has a rich history that goes back to the early 1700s and it played a significant role in the Civil War. Centreville was of significant strategic value due to its proximity to several important roads, while its position atop a high ridge provided a commanding view of the surrounding area. The town was frequently associated with Confederate Colonel John S. Mosby, whose partisan rangers used its hillsides and farms as a base of operations.

Cox Farms- What was once “too far out in the boondocks” for customers has become a treasured oasis of green space in this busy and crowded corner of Fairfax County. The Cox Farms Fall Festival is the largest and most popular Fall Festival in the Washington DC area. For many people in the local community, fall would not be complete without the annual Fall Festival at Cox Farms.
Bull Run Regional Park is a great location for some outdoor recreation and fun for the whole family. Group and individual camp grounds are available equipped with modern restroom areas, electric hookups and a convenience store. There are picnicking areas, hiking paths, playground for the kids; and swimming pool to cool off. You can also participate in miniature and Frisbee golf; skeet shooting and indoor archery.
